- A community hospital in Damariscotta, ME is seeking a Board-Certified Surgical Ophthalmologist for a full-time locum position. The need arises from an unexpected provider leave. Providers interested in part-time or fractional coverage will also be considered. This is a no-call, Monday–Friday (8 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM) role in a collaborative and well-supported clinical setting.
📋 Job Responsibilities :
Perform ophthalmologic surgeries (e.g., cataracts, eyelid procedures)Conduct pre- and post-operative assessmentsDeliver high-quality patient care in a multidisciplinary environmentMaintain accurate clinical documentation and follow hospital protocols⏰ Working Hours :
