Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school is seeking a Substitute Teacher Aide to support instruction and classroom management in a Special Education environment. Responsibilities include assisting teachers with lesson implementation, providing individualized support to students, and helping maintain a structured, safe learning space. Candidates must have prior Special Education experience, complete Justice Center clearance, and be available to start at 8 : 30 AM.

Responsibilities :

Provide one-on-one and small-group support for students following IEPs

Assist teachers with classroom activities, instructional materials, and daily routines

Observe and document student progress, behavior, and challenges

Maintain a respectful, organized, and safe classroom environment

Qualifications / Desired Experience :

Prior experience in a Special Education classroom or school

Adaptability to work in different classroom settings

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Completed Justice Center clearance prior to starting

Available for an 8 : 30 AM start
