Key Responsibilities

Job responsibilities for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) include and are not limited to :

Assisting CNAs in performing ADL and routine care.\nConducting resident / patient treatments.\nAdministering medication in accordance with physician orders and Plan of Care.\nSubmitting pharmacy

orders.\nAccurately documenting and recording all information.\nGiving injections of medication as

prescribed.\nObserving resident health to communicate current condition to RNs, Supervisors, and

Physicians.\nTaking vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature and weight.\nBasic

care, including wound cleaning and bandaging.\nManaging IVs, starting IV drips.\nMonitoring fluid / food

intake and output.\nObserving and reporting resident accidents, incidents and the presence of skin
