Description :

This position involves working on a unit that can accommodate up to 12 beds.

The average patient census is typically between 3-6 patients.

During unusual circumstances, this census may rise to 10 due to increased demand.

A nurse-to-patient ratio is generally 1 : 4-5.

Team nursing is utilized, with the floor nurse and charge nurse collaborating closely to provide care.

The electronic medical record system used is MediTech.

Shifts are from 7 PM to 6 : 30 AM.

There is a weekend requirement of every third weekend, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Holiday rotations are handled with permanent staff based on the assigned weekend schedule.

Scrub color is navy blue, and fleece jackets are not permitted, but similar outerwear is acceptable.

The unit has a higher volume of swing bed patients, with an average of 1-2 patients requiring more intensive care.
