Flexjet is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilizing all machine shop equipment (mills, lathes, grinders, drills, presses, saws, hand tools, welding machines, etc.) completes work assignments from prints, sketches or verbal instructions
- Measures products using variety of measuring equipment (tape measures, calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.)
- Assists other machine shop employees in machining, fabricating, set up, painting, finishing, shipping and handling, clean up, and all other machine shop / office duties and housecleaning and shop maintenance
- Completes all required machining logs / records
- Supports all company policies and safety programs to include OSHA and EPA regulations
- Interprets technical manuals, drawings and blueprints
- Presents a clean and neat work area
- Demonstrates professionalism and delivers satisfaction to the internal / external customer
- Performs other related duties & responsibilities as assigned
