Duration : 12 months contract
Shift : 6 : 30PM - 6 : 30AM / 6 : 30AM - 6 : 30PM- Rotational shift (3 days on 2 off then 2 on 3 off)
Position Summary :
- An Equipment Operator I is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of simple automated assembly machines.
- This individual will ensure the continued operation of assembly machines through interpretation of and appropriate response to machine faults and through infrequent alignment of stations and fixtures.
- This individual will perform simple, repetitive tasks associated with machine operation and will operate machines that require a low level of attentiveness.
- The operator is also responsible for ensuring that medical devices are assembled with the highest quality possible.

Keep work area and equipment cleanAble to read and understand proceduresResponsible for safe operation of equipment in accordance with Company standards and proceduresCapable of starting a machine from power off statePerforms work order set ups in electronic batch record, data acquisition, and inventory management systemsOperates machines, jigs, and fixtures to produce good quality products at established run rates.Reads and interprets gauges and dials as required on equipmentAble to interpret machine faults, rectify problem, and restart machineCompletes production records and work order documentation as neededPerform inspection or testing of product to ensure good qualityWeigh, count, package, and label finished productAble to learn to operate simple machines quickly and easilyAble to demonstrate flexibility in operating multiple simple machines.Simple machines :
Involve press and torque fitments,Are typically less than 10 stations,Have low levels of operator attention,Have minimal station and fixture alignments.Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications :
Basic Microsoft (Outlook, Excel, Word) and computer experience preferredAble to read and understand proceduresEducation and Experience :
High school diploma, GED or Employment AssessmentMinimum Qualifications :
