Engineering Manager

Selectek is seeking an Engineering Manager for our partnering company, located in Alpharetta, Georgia. Our client needs a candidate to oversee various engineering projects, processes, budgets, and timelines and making any necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion.

Employment Type : Permanent Hire Expected Pay Range : $120,000-$140,000 annually, depending on experience and certification level Location : Alpharetta, GA

Job Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Structural highly preferred)
  • 5 plus years of engineering management experience for industrial fabricated equipment.
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk software
  • Leadership skills
  • Previous Project Management Experience

In addition to these requirements, candidates must hold United States citizenship, per the client's request. Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Serve as the engineering leader and technical expert
  • Answer questions and resolve issues brought forth by the engineering team members
  • Create detailed engineering plans, processes, and procedures for engineering staff to use and abide by
  • Propose and oversee budgets and timelines for engineering projects
  • Check and confirm the accuracy of the work performed and the methods used by engineering staff
  • Conduct various tests and quality assurance checks to verify the quality of completed projects
  • Monitor and determine staffing and training needs
  • Hire, train, and supervise engineering staff members
  • Spearhead various research and development initiatives to identify and improve processes
  • Communicate and collaborate with other managers, suppliers, contractors and end user customers
  • Prepare and deliver various engineering-related presentations, both internally and externally
