About The Position

Locum Physician Anesthesiologist

Location : Jamestown, New York

Rate : $300 / hr (1099)

Start Date : November 2025

Contract Length : Ongoing

Schedule : Weekday shifts + rotating call coverage

Hours : 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM (Scheduled)

Call : 1 : 4 rotation, includes weekend pager call

Job Requirements

We are seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for locum coverage at a regional hospital in Corning, NY. The role includes a mix of direct anesthesia care and CRNA supervision. Providers must be comfortable managing general cases and OB anesthesia. Weekend call is shared among the team, with CRNAs in-house and MDs on pager backup.

Clinical Details

  • Team Composition : 2 MDs + 6 CRNAs
  • Patient Volume : Moderate, varies by surgical schedule
  • Patient Population : Adults and obstetric patients
  • EMR System : Epic
  • Procedures :
  • General anesthesia
  • OB anesthesia (epidurals, spinals)
  • Endoscopy cases
  • CRNA supervision during scheduled hours and call
  • MDs expected to take call 1 : 4, including weekends
  • MDs may perform own cases during call if needed

  • Board Certification in Anesthesiology
  • Active New York State Medical License
  • DEA Registration
  • Certifications : BLS & ACLS (current)
  • Experience : OB anesthesia experience preferred
  • Credentialing Timeline : 45–60 days
