Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Location : Albany, GA
Assignment Length : 17 weeks
Shift : Nights, 4x10-hour shifts
Weekend shifts assigned only if scheduled
No call required
Position Overview :
Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a busy imaging unit. The role involves performing a variety of MRI exams including musculoskeletal, neuro, abdominal / pelvis, breast, and radiotherapy imaging. The technologist will work with ICU, NICU, pacer, and anesthesia patients.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform MRI exams according to established protocols
Start IVs as required for contrast administration
Maintain accurate patient documentation
Collaborate with radiologists, supervisors, and staff to ensure quality patient care
Adhere to safety and infection control standards
Requirements :
Minimum 1 year of MRI experience; first-time travelers accepted
ARRT certification required
Experience with Siemens MRI required; Philips preferred
Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Preferred : Travel experience and Level II trauma experience
Schedule & Orientation :
Orientation : 12 weeks provided
Scrubs : Black with black / gray jacket; no fleece, undershirts optional
