Pallet Stacker

Join a dynamic team at a leading distribution center that supports 94 retail locations throughout the Midwest. As a Pallet Stacker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of materials and ensuring efficient operation of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and store received materials in the warehouse.
  • Utilize an RF scanner to track and manage inventory accurately.
  • Fulfill orders for daily shipments.
  • Stock and palletize orders according to work instructions.
  • Prepare loaded pallets for shipments using shrink wrap.
  • Collaborate with forklift operators to assist in moving materials when necessary.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in using a forklift, RF scanner, and pallet jack.
  • Experience in inventory management and warehouse production.
  • Strong ability in order picking, packing, and material handling.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 6 months of previous manual labor experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

    Work Environment

    Work in a spacious, multi-level distribution warehouse equipped with numerous fans. Please note that the environment can become warm during the summer months. The position requires working from Monday to Friday, 6am to 4 : 30pm. The dress code allows for comfort, with closed-toed shoes and permissible t-shirts and shorts during hot weather, while avoiding offensive clothing.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SIOUX CITY, Iowa.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 / hr.
