Responsibilities

Position Purpose : QA Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure software quality and reliability. This role focuses on improving testing efficiency, enhancing test coverage, and supporting continuous integration and delivery (CI / CD) processes to deliver high-quality applications with minimal defects.

Primary duties will include :

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and integration testing. Implement and optimize test automation frameworks to enhance reusability and scalability.Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects with detailed documentation.

Identify test scenarios suitable for automation and ensure maximum test coverage. Collaborate with QA and development teams to implement test strategies aligned with business objectives.

Identify, document, and track defects in issue management tools like Jira, Azure DevOps. Work closely with developers to ensure timely bug resolution and retesting.

Ensure the application functions correctly across different browsers and operating systems. Use tools like Selenium Grid, BrowserStack for cross-platform compatibility testing.

Maintain detailed test automation documentation, including test plans, scripts, and reports. Generating test summary reports with insights on test execution, defect trends, and coverage gaps.

Work closely with developers, business analysts, and manual testers to align testing with business goals.Continuously explore new automation tools, frameworks, and best practices to enhance testing efficiency.

Hiring Salary Range $90-$100 / hr; salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity and alignment with market data.) Subject to business performance and recommendations of management, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan. This compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
