Working independently, the Senior Videographer films, edits, and develops video and audio content for training modules, internal messaging, promotional material, and companywide strategic initiatives. Performs professional voice work for video and audio productions.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the production process including pre-production planning, scripting, filming, and post-production editing of content, including audio editing and creating digital effects.
  • Operates video cameras and related equipment in the production and editing of video, both on location and in studio.
  • Makes recommendations and leads the team. Acts as the subject matter expert (SME) in all situations related to audio, video and content. May act as a trainer and mentor to other Videographers on the team.
  • Designs, transports, sets up, and operates production equipment, including audio and lighting equipment, for field and studio productions.
  • Assess the video production capabilities that best fit the needs of the training to achieve the desired outcome. Produces content according to Company specifications.
  • Performs professional voice over narration with clear and precise dictation ready for audio editing and production.
  • Revises written script and writes new copy that better fits an auditory performance.
  • Records and produces audio content for training material and other audio needs such as voice over, narration, and sound mixing.
  • Prepares finished product based on feedback; collaborates with developer and content specialist to implement.
  • Edits special effects, composition, and design of video and audio productions for less complex projects.
  • Collaborates with developers and web content specialists and maintains multimedia asset library.
  • Stays current on the latest industry technologies, trends, techniques, and strategies.
  • Answers employee, vendor or other customer questions related to video development processes, procedures, and capabilities.
  • Completes work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • This position requires a minimum of five years video production experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with production grade audio and video equipment is required.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is required.
  • Experience with audio and video-editing software such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro is required.
  • Experience with Adobe After Effects and Adobe Audition is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • General understanding of film and editing techniques and practices is required.
  • The ability to work within a team is necessary.
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure, manage multiple priorities, accurately meet deadlines, deliver quality results, present a professional demeanor and work well independently is essential.
  • Written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Customer service skills including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude is essential.
  • Troubleshooting and organizational skills with a can-do attitude and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential.
  • Treating others with respect and upholding Company values are key.
  • Educational Requirements

    This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

    Work Days

    Normal work days are Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be necessary.

    Work Hours

    Normal work hours are 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. Occasional overtime (more than forty hours per week) may be necessary.
