Our goal is to find teachers who will commit to being a long term in person sub and who will earn 275 per day (prorated to an overall 80% schedule).

Starting daily rate will be 210 / day (prorated to an overall 80% schedule); long term rate tops out at 275 / day (prorated to an overall 80% schedule).

Responsibilities

  • Provide Instructional support by adhering to the curriculum and lesson plans assigned by assisting with the understanding of assignments, information being presented and homework by leading small group work, one-on-one support and class instruction
  • Consultation with teachers and other campus staff to assist in providing instructional, assessment and behavioral support, which will allow students with targeted needs meet their academic goals
  • Monitoring of students through weekly progress reports, taking attendance and documenting daily notes
  • Compliance : Follow school policies including compliance with all school regulations and policies, overseeing students outside of the classroom, ensuring classroom and work areas are kept clean and orderly and overseeing normal classroom rhythms and activities
  • Provide other supports for students as needed
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Current California Teaching Credential or Proof of filing for an Emergency California Teaching Credential
  • Belief that all students can succeed
  • Ability to take on initiative and be flexible and positive in a changing environment
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus
  • A current resume
  • Contact information for two professional references, including a current or former supervisor
  • Copy of CA Credential OR Copy of Substitute Credential (not necessary for the initial application but will be required as part of your hiring process)
