We are seeking an experienced Site Safety Professional – Demolition / Abatement Construction for our jobsites located in Culver City, California.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to) :

To develop, implement and monitor Occupational Health and Safety Policy, Programs, and Procedures.
To assist in complying with current health and safety legislation and / or regulations with the objective of ensuring that all reasonable and proper measures are taken to protect the safety and health of learners, staff and visitors.
To increase health and safety awareness at all levels within the organization.
To investigate and report on all serious / critical personal injury accidents and to assist in the investigation of all accidents / incidents.
To investigate and report on complaints of hazardous working conditions.
To respond to employees’ safety concerns.
To conduct, as necessary, the safety inspection of any jobsite.
To act as liaison with all related governmental bodies and regulating agencies.
To coordinate the training of personnel in areas of safety, including first aid, CPR, accident prevention and investigation, workplace inspections and other matters related to implementing safety procedures in jobsites.
To assume other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications :

Must have CHST from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) or

Certified Safety Manager-Construction (SMS-C) from the National Association of Safety Professionals (NASP)

5+ years of recent similar construction experience

Capable of working independently and with a team environment

Proficient in MS Project, Excel, Word & Outlook

Must be a High School graduate
