Travel PCU / ICU Step-Down Registered Nurse - $2,146 per week

Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Washington Court House, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline : RN Start Date : 10 / 27 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Staff Nurse – PCU Unit (Night Shift) Location : Washington Courthouse, OH Shift : Night Shift | 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM ⏳ Hours : 36 hours / week, every other weekend Position Overview : The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care by applying nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Acting as the primary caregiver , the nurse delivers direct patient care and collaborates with care team members, physicians, and patients / families to achieve optimal outcomes . The RN manages up to 3 ICU step-down patients or up to 4 med / surg-type patients , making independent and collaborative decisions while maintaining patient confidentiality. The position reports directly to the Nurse Manager and indirectly to the Director of Nursing . Key Responsibilities : Provide direct care for ICU step-down or med / surg patients. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and perform required procedures. Document patient care accurately in compliance with hospital policies. Support patient education and maintain a safe and healing environment. Experience Preferred : Management of DKA (Diabetic Ketoacidosis) Care for patients with ETOH (alcohol) withdrawal Cardizem drip administration AFIB (Atrial Fibrillation) patient management Qualifications : Active RN license in Ohio BLS certification required Previous experience in PCU, med / surg, or ICU step-down preferred “We are an equal opportunity employer.
