We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead the growth and development of all sales activities connected to the product and services of SG Engineering Business Unit in the United States. The successful candidate will work to achieve sales targets in line with budget goals and drive the commercial plan execution, interacting with internal peer functions and monitoring the activities of assigned sales team.
Key Accountabilities / Decisions Area :
Customer Business Development
- Ensure the achievement of commercial targets for assigned territories, managing the selling process for the portfolio of products and services assigned, and guarantee sustainable business development.
- Drive assigned team in dealing with existing and potential customers, building long term relationship with key decision makers across customer organization and establishing effective and sustainable partnership at once.
- Monitor target achievement progression promptly initiating corrective actions, if and when needed, in collaboration with assigned sales team to solve issues and ensure target achievement.
Sales Operations Effectiveness Execution
Work closely with Sales Operations, Customer Services, Product Management and other relevant internal departments to guarantee and maintain the highest level of customer service.Promote ongoing coordination and integration within the Commercial team to organically execute the go to market strategy and plan.Reporting and Monitoring
Monitor potential and emerging trends to create cross selling commercial opportunities for SG added value solutions.Monitor and oversee targets achievement progression and analyses relevant KPI’s, promptly executing corrective actions in collaboration with Sales Team as well as functions involved.Ensure that all tools, systems, data and records are up to date, as per corporate guidelines, policies, best practices and procedures.Budget Management
Ensure the proper management of budget related to assigned areas in line with business objectives.People Management
Organize, manage, coach and develop assigned staff, ensuring the effective talent management, career path development and training, fostering commitment and engagement.Relationship Management
Build effective and long-lasting relationships with actual and potential customers as well as all internal and external stakeholders, fostering the SG competitive advantages within the emerging markets.Qualifications :
At least 5 years of experiences in marketing or sales management position, preferably with expertise in CRM.Knowledge of Machinery and Equipment Industry within the Manufacturing sector : process, features techniquesDeep understanding of Industry market and knowledge of key consumers and segmentsAccount Planning : methodologies, techniques, tools and applicationsCustomers and Prospects products and processes understandingProject Management : methodologies, techniques, tools and applicationsCustomer Service and CRM Management : methodologies, techniques, tools and applicationsAnalysis and Reporting : methodologies, techniques, tools and applicationsBudget managementIT Tools : use of company tools and applications (ERP, Office, company applications, …)To complete the picture, the successful candidate will have a positive mindset and a go-getter attitude, establishing themselves as reference point for SG, the team and their partners alike.
