Software Engineering - Software Engineer II

Location : US - Remote

Introduction

The main function of this role is to apply the principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of software and systems that make computers work. The position involves researching, designing, developing, and testing operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for various applications including medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time effectively.
• Experience in developing software on Android tech stack.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issues.
• Coordinate feature launches across multiple teams, maintaining quality standards and test coverage.
• Work with the next generation of Android-based consumer hardware, being able to flash firmware and use command line tools to change device state.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant field.
