Join Our Team as a Chemo Nurse!

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and their families? As a Chemo Nurse at Carle Health, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care through a systematic approach that includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Your expertise will help shape the healthcare experience for individuals, families, and communities within the RN scope of practice defined by the Illinois Board of Nursing.

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver and facilitate competent healthcare to patients and families in your area of practice.
• Ensure adherence to established standards of care and scope of practice.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of care.
• Provide health and wellness education to individuals and groups.
• Act as a preceptor, supporting the development of other staff and healthcare students.
• Lead initiatives aimed at improving the quality of care and clinical outcomes.
• Assist the Nursing Supervisor / Coordinator in developing departmental standing orders.

Qualifications

Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $30.39 - $52.27 per hour . This range reflects a good faith minimum and maximum for the role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on various factors, including experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked, and compensation model.
