    • Job Description :

    As a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician, you will :

  • Provide high-quality emergency care to pediatric patients in a high-volume setting ( 55,000 annual visits)
  • Collaborate closely with subspecialty teams including PICU, CVICU, NICU, and hospitalists to manage complex cases
  • Work alongside a strong support team including child life specialists and pediatric social workers dedicated to ER presence
  • Engage in bedside teaching and supervision of Pediatric, Emergency Medicine, and Family Practice residents from six programs
  • Participate in training and didactic sessions for Pediatric ER fellows if desired
  • Benefit from full scribe coverage to optimize patient care and documentation
  • Work fair, balanced shifts with the potential for overtime if desired

  • A specialized neonatal and pediatric transport team to safely transport children to a waiting team of experts.
  • The state s largest, most comprehensive Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit to treat patients needing a higher level of care.
  • A dedicated pediatric pharmacy with specially trained pediatric pharmacists and technicians.
  • A heart program so comprehensive we are the only hospital in Nevada with the ability to perform pediatric open heart surgery.
  • A Labor & Delivery Unit that provides safe, advanced care for the most routine to the most complex deliveries.

    • Requirements :

  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine REQUIRED
  • Fellowship trained in Pediatric Emergency Medicine - REQUIRED
  • Nevada Medical License or eligibility to obtain REQUIRED
  • Clean malpractice and medical license history HIGHLY PREFERRED
  • Does provider already live in the area or they willing to relocate? - REQUIRED
  • Does the provider require visa support - J1 or H1B? - REQUIRED
