Schedule Analyst

Tecolote Research, Inc. is seeking an experienced Schedule Analyst with 5+ years of relevant experience in supporting DoD programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in schedule development and management, with responsibilities including technical schedule coordination, integrated program controls support, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities :

  • Execute scheduling requirements such as Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) by applying industry-standard principles for developing and managing integrated schedules and related products. Ensure actual performance data is incorporated into the schedule.
  • Plan, develop, maintain, analyze, and present comprehensive integrated project schedules.
  • Perform schedule risk assessments, analyze schedule variances, evaluate progress against baseline plans, conduct critical path analysis, and review contractor reports for accuracy and compliance.
  • Support activities including schedule estimating, confidence level analysis, predictive schedule modeling, earned value management (EVM), and project forecasting.
  • Collaborate closely with Government and contractor personnel to collect data and deliver accurate schedule analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with DoD development programs, processes, and acquisition lifecycle is highly desired.

Skills Required :

  • Prior Space Systems Command (SSC) scheduling experience preferred
  • Proven experience in schedule development, analysis, integration, and management
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Project Server, or similar scheduling tools
  • Solid understanding of scheduling best practices, including critical path methodology, schedule quality standards, and execution metrics
  • Advanced skills in MS Office Suite with excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance required
  • Salary range : $80,000 - $110,000 depending on experience, qualifications, and credentials
  • Education : Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
