The Senior Managing Director Regulatory Reporting will be responsible for managing all aspects of the bank's regulatory reporting processes, with a focus on critical reports including FR Y-9C, Y-9LP, Y-14 Q / M, Y-15, as well as FFIEC 041. This role requires expertise in U.S. regulatory requirements for Category 4 (or larger) banks, strong leadership capabilities, and hands-on experience with AxiomSL (now part of Nasdaq) or similar regulatory reporting platforms. This role will report directly to the Chief Accounting Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Reporting Oversight : Lead the preparation, review, and timely submission of all required regulatory reports.
  • Oversee the implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of the regulatory reporting platform.
  • Develop and maintain strong internal controls over the regulatory reporting process.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies.
  • Build, manage, and develop a high-performing team of regulatory reporting professionals.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across Finance, Treasury, Risk Management, IT, and Compliance.
  • Monitor changes in regulatory requirements.
  • Provide thought leadership and strategic insights to senior management.

Education, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. CPA, CFA, or advanced degree (MBA, MS in Finance) preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in regulatory reporting within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of U.S. regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with AxiomSL or similar platform.
  • Strong understanding of liquidity risk, capital adequacy, stress testing, and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Proficiency in regulatory reporting systems, data management tools, and advanced Excel. SQL or data analytics skills are a plus.
  • The estimated base salary range for this position is $225,000 USD to $260,000 USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
