MedSurg RNs prepare equipment and assist physicians during examination and treatment of patients. MedSurg RN job responsibilities include, but are not limited to : \n
• MedSurg RNs prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications\n
• Initiate alternative action when adverse symptomology is displayed\n
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs when necessary
