The Retail Department Manager is responsible for growing department sales to achieve the store sales plan. This role includes aspects of merchandising, customer service, and store maintenance. Primary responsibilities include greeting and acknowledging every customer, being knowledgeable of all products, assisting with receiving the truck, ensuring proper merchandising, communicating customer needs, assisting with training new associates, operating the register, and maintaining store cleanliness.

Qualifications include a minimum of six months' retail experience in a mid-size to large retail service-oriented business, the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, a positive attitude, and the ability to interact well with customers and associates. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 35 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
