Description :

RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.

Any call-offs or additional RTO in the unit could possibly result in a cancellation and DNR.

Ratios are typically 1 : 6-7.

Floating to similar units is required, with a float at least once a week being typical.

Every other weekend is required; must be able to work holidays.

Contract staff will be assigned to work on a Storm Team and / or Hurricane Team.

Contract staff may be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters.

The daily census is around 41 patients.

Staffing includes interdisciplinary support from various services, including IV Teams, Respiratory Services, and Pharmacy.

Patient diagnoses primarily include medical / surgical patients.

Special procedures involve the administration of Heparin and Insulin infusions.

The unit uses Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR systems for medication, documentation, and communication.

Candidates may float to other units based on their skill sets and census needs.

All travelers are subject to fatigue policy and cannot work more than 5 consecutive days or over 60 hours in a week.

Medical / Surgical experience is required, along with proficiency in management of dysrhythmias and IV protocols.

Working without any restrictions or special requests for floating is essential.

Two references from managers or supervisors within the past 12 months are preferred at submission.

Candidates must acknowledge flexibility to other locations, units, and shifts.
