Occasionally required to ascend / descend a ladder in the process of inventory management. Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management and clients. Must be able to identify, recognize, inspect, estimate and assess inventory items, which include automotive parts and other items Related experience in warehouse, shipping / receiving. High school or equivalent required. Wednesday through Friday 9 : 00 AM to 2 : 00 PM

The shipping & receiving manager is responsible for the daily operations of shipping & receiving and is responsible for the efficient processing of inbound / outbound shipments, inventory tracking and supporting EngineQuest' s commitment to exceed customer expectations.
The shipping & receiving manager is responsible for ensuring that the incoming inventory is inspected, correctly counted, catalogued and is readily available for order fulfillment. This person is also responsible for managing inventory and filing systems so that all outbound shipments are processed in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.
This is a non-exempt position, reporting to the General Manager.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Processing and understanding of picking sheets, packing lists and other order fulfillment paperwork
- Pull and packages orders for all common carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS) and truck
- Scans part number location and processes the order when it is complete.
- Operates online FedEx / UPS shipping systems and shipping management software
- Receives inbound bulk shipments, reviews products to ensure items match
- Inventories and reports monthly shipping supplies. Ensure all documentation related to inventory flows is complete, accurate and filed correctly
- Build bulk products into kits
- Conducts inventory cycle counts
- Identifies gaps in inventory process and reports to management.
