Job Title : Mechanical Designer

Level : Mid-Level

Position Overview :

We are seeking a Mechanical Designer with a strong working knowledge of PTC Creo and exposure wot Windchill. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in mechanical design who is looking to grow within a long-term opportunity focused on data migration, standardization, and redesign.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Migrate legacy CAD data into Creo PLM system.
  • Redesign existing components and assemblies with standardization in mind (e.g., converting SAE to Metric).
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
  • Apply best practices in Creo modeling, especially in Sheetmetal and Piping .
  • Learn and apply piping design if not already proficient, provided a strong foundation in Creo is present.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to design optimization.

Required Qualifications :

  • Proficiency in Creo , with emphasis on Sheetmetal and Piping (or willingness to learn piping).
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles.
  • Able to function as an individual contributor.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with PLM systems and CAD data migration is a plus.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience converting SAE designs to Metric standards.
  • Prior involvement in data migration projects.
  • Familiarity with Windchill PLM or similar systems.
  • Candidates with Creo experience will be prioritized; those without may be considered only if they bring exceptional design skills.
