JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

Associate degree preferred but not required, graduate of VO-Tech or trade school or completion of technical related school to job requirements including courses in electricity, electronics, mathematics, etc. May be waived in lieu of military or technical experience.

Experience

Prefer six (6) months prior, related experiences : will consider good applicant without experience. If no experience, must attend a certified water school and a school for training on current dialysis machines.

Physical

Normal hospital environment. Close eye work. Color perception. Hearing or normal and soft tones. Exposure to electrical, biological hazards, including fumes and odors and mechanical hazards. Operates electronic test equipment, drills, saws, ladders, safety inspection equipment. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and stooping. Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. Pushing / pulling up to 50 lbs.

JOB SUMMARY

Performs testing, preventative maintenance, and repair of certain electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment. Mainly kidney Dialysis machines and associated water systems. Maintains safety inspection and service records as required. Will require traveling offsite Dialysis locations. Some service may have to be performed at odd hours to fulfill patient satisfaction.
