Contract-to-Hire | Waukesha, WI

Pay : $25.00–$30.00 / hr + 15% shift bonus

Hours : Mon–Fri, 2 : 30 PM–11 : 00 PM (must train on 1st shift)

Core responsibilities

  • Set up and run : HAAS CNC Mills & Routers , Amada Turret Punches , Cincinnati Press Brakes , Schelling Panel Saws .
  • Interpret program setup sheets and fixture parts using flat, vise, angle plate, and vacuum hold-down methods.
  • Dial in tooling, speeds, and feeds; adjust programs at the machine to optimize cycle time and quality.
  • Produce complex components per customer orders, work orders, and engineering blueprints.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance; troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to restore uptime.
  • Document work performed; communicate status for seamless shift-to-shift transitions.
  • Support lean / CI practices to reduce waste and improve throughput.

    • Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of CNC setup / operation experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced math, precision measurement, and blueprint interpretation skills.
  • Ability to read and troubleshoot G & M code programs directly at the control.
  • Experience with HAAS; familiarity with Fanuc controls is a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED with relevant vocational or job-related training.
  • Detail-driven with strong ownership and follow-through.
