Material Handler (Weekends)

We are seeking a safety-focused Material Handler to join our Warehouse Team. You need to have FORKLIFT experience of at least a year or two. It is a great opportunity to get more experience here at Vertiv! Warehouse experience is a bonus. In this essential role, you will move, store, and distribute materials and products within the facility. You'll support manufacturing and warehouse operations by ensuring materials are available where and when they are needed, helping keep our production running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Material Movement : Transport materials and components to and from workstations, storage areas, or loading docks using FORKLIFTS , pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Inventory Control : Track material movement using scanners or inventory management systems; report discrepancies or shortages.
• Receiving & Stocking : Assist with receiving incoming shipments, checking for accuracy, and stocking materials in designated locations.
• Kitting & Staging : Prepare materials or kits for production based on work orders or pick lists.
• Load & Unload : Safely load and unload trucks and containers as needed.
• Safety & Housekeeping : Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
• Team Collaboration : Communicate with production, shipping, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely material flow.
