REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :

Minimum Qualifications :

Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work. Current licensure as a Professional Counselor, Psychological Associate, or Clinical Social Worker with five (5) years experience as a LPA, LPC or LCSW.

Job Summary :

This position is responsible for providing mental health evaluation and therapeutic intervention to patients. Works under the supervision of a Psychologist, Mental Health Manager, and / or Program Director.

Job Duties :

Contributes to the success of the Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium...

Provides individual psychotherapy to children and adolescents referred through the TCHATT program in the

Department of Psychiatry.

Develops, implements and reviews Individual Treatment Plans.

Assists with training and education of mental health clinician trainees.

Assists in the implementation of Quality Improvement / Quality Management programs and in the monitoring of compliance with required policies, procedures and standards.

Provides routine consultation and communication with supervisor and / or psychiatric provider regarding the status of assigned patients.

Completes clinically appropriate and timely documentation.

Liaisons with patient, patient families, on-site departments and community agencies to coordinate current treatment and / or facilitate aftercare services

Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.

Performs related duties as required.

Salary Range :

Commensurate with experience.
