General Summary & Scope

The Master Stylist is responsible for engaging with guests, consulting on their hair care needs, and recommending products and services. Delivers quality professional services with an emphasis on the guest's total look. Supports the Experience Manager and Assistant Services Manager through a focus on performance (service sales and productivity), people (guest service), and process (operating procedures and compliance standards). Requires passion for the beauty industry, exceptional guest service, and the ability to learn and communicate product knowledge.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform hair services including design, cuts, color, texture, treatments, styling, updos, perms, blowouts, keratin treatments, extensions, makeup applications, and ear piercing (where applicable).
• Meet or exceed a weekly sales goal of $1,250 in average hair service sales and productivity goals; contribute to store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, and retail shrink as set by Ulta Beauty.
• Demonstrate products with guests to drive sales and enhance guest service.
• Support in-store events, promotions, and marketing initiatives to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Stay informed on new and existing industry trends, products, and services and be knowledgeable about ingredients and benefits to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.

Pay range : $20.00 per hour, with potential for services pay under the Services Compensation Plan. Pay is based on factors including education, qualifications, certifications, experience, and location. Eligible associates may earn overtime and tips.
