Value Stream Manager

Overview

We are seeking a Value Stream Manager to provide hands-on leadership across two key value streams : Powder Coat and Storage & Organization . This individual will play a critical role in aligning daily production performance with long-term strategic goals, ensuring operational excellence in safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC).

What You'll Do

Operational Leadership : Direct cross-functional teams across operations, engineering, quality, maintenance, and materials to deliver on production goals.

Performance Management : Lead daily tier meetings, escalate barriers, and implement corrective actions to maintain flow and meet customer demand.

Continuous Improvement : Drive Lean initiatives, including value stream mapping, kaizen events, SMED, Kanban, A3 problem-solving, and 5S.

Strategic Execution : Develop and execute value stream plans that align with plant KPIs and business objectives, including P&L responsibility.

Compliance & Safety : Partner with the Safety Manager to ensure OSHA, ISO 9001, and regulatory compliance while maintaining a safe, productive environment.

Coaching & Development : Build and mentor high-performing teams, providing opportunities for skill growth and organizational success.

What We're Looking For

Education : Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or Operations.

Experience : 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership, with proven success driving process improvements in a production environment.

Technical Knowledge : Lean manufacturing applications, ISO 9001, machining, and assembly operations.

Certifications : Lean Certification or Six Sigma Green Belt (required).

Skills : Strong understanding of KPIs (OEE, yield, lead time, on-time delivery), ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
