As the only milk marketing co-op in the state, UDA oversees the production, processing, and marketing of Arizona's finest milk products from farm to Retail in 48 hours or less. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Perform preventive, reactive, and predictive mechanical and electrical repairs for all UDA plants, warehouses, and facilitiesPerform a variety of industrial pneumatic diagnostics and repairs to valves, banks, and fittingsPerform various electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repairs including, but not limited to 3-phase motors, contactor relays, blown fuses, overload starters, VFD’s, motors, and PLC’sPerform a variety of plumbing repairs to PVC, copper, and stainless-steel fittingsManage multiple simultaneous projects and prioritize maintenance requests by level of impactDevelop effective procedure to diagnose, troubleshoot and validate quality solutionsDocument, log, and report repairs into CMMS system and provide regular updates to maintenance teamPerform pump mechanical works and maintain and sustain pump programsAlways maintain food safety and quality standards, resolving and / or reporting compliance issues immediately.Work Schedule : 12 hour shifts (nights - 6 to 6); working on a 2-2-3 schedule (week 1 of payroll : 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on; 2nd week of payroll : 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off).
QUALIFICATIONS :
Expert knowledge and applied understanding of : Industrial electrical, pneumatic, boiler, refrigeration systems, motor, compressors, gearboxes, and pumpsDetail oriented with the ability to effectively diagnose, troubleshoot, and conduct complex repairsExpert knowledge of equipment systems troubleshooting and repairMake decisions based on general mechanical and electrical principals with minimal guidance and supervisionProficient knowledge of lubrication principles and techniques including bearing types and usagePrior experience conducting utility and HVAC / R maintenance and repairsAbility to comprehend and utilize technical prints, schematics, and diagramsAbility to operate equipment including a forklift, and various liftsTeam-player mentality with the ability to self-manage and prioritize time, tasks, and projectsBasic typing skills and familiarity with computer programs such as a CMMS or EAMExperience :
7-10 years of industrial maintenance experience!General knowledge of food and beverage industry required!Education / Certifications :
High School Diploma or GEDPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
