Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated AP Staff Accountant to manage the AP analysis, payment cycle, resolve discrepancies, and ensure proper reconciliation to the General Ledger. This role involves ensuring the accurate accounting of payments made for scholarship programs and reviewing invoices for accuracy to mitigate risk prior to payment. The Staff Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support special projects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage the payment cycle and ensure timely processing.
• Resolve discrepancies and ensure reconciliation to the General Ledger.
• Accurately account for all payments made for scholarship programs.
• Review invoices for accuracy and mitigate risk prior to payment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues.
• Support special projects as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00 / hr.
