The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Principal Engineer to join the GenStudio Engineering team. This role is ideal for a technical leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building scalable, high-impact software solutions. You will drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and influence the technical direction of GenStudio.

What You'll Do

• Architect and design complex, interlinked systems with a forward-looking perspective.
• Lead development reviews and own designs that impact the fundamental architecture of GenStudio.
• Make architectural decisions and simplify complex requirements into scalable solutions.
• Define and establish code standards, test strategies, and automation technologies.
• Lead code reviews and refactor complex areas to improve maintainability and performance.
• Share programming expertise across multiple engineering domains and resolve high-complexity issues.
• Choose or build frameworks and libraries to accelerate team velocity.
• Regularly publish knowledge through white papers, architectural documents, or enablement sessions.
• Mentor and coach engineers across teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $190,200 $351,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
