WORK RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Must be a sophomore or higher pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Webpage Design, Digital Media, Computer Software and Media Application, or something creative-strategic

Must love to learn, ask questions, and get stuff done

Curiosity and a sense of humor = highly preferred

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPECTATIONS

Strong writing and communication skills (grammar nerds welcomed - AI support approved!)

Comfortable with Canva, Instagram, LinkedIn, or YouTube (you don't need to be a guru, but know your hashtags)

Interest in analytics, SEO, or marketing automation tools

Positive attitude and "let's figure it out" mindset

Creative thinker with a willingness to try new things

Ability to work both independently and in a group brainstorm fueled by snacks

Must not be afraid of deadlines or Google Docs

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position requires performing tasks that involve constant sitting and keyboarding. This means you'll be working at a computer for extended periods, so maintaining good posture and taking regular breaks to stretch and move around will be important.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Indoors, with occasional excitement over video shoots, product samples, or office celebrations.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States

While travel within Storm Lake is self-managed, housing assistance is available for candidates relocating to Storm Lake
