Job Summary
An Associate Attorney in the Employment practice group will counsel clients, assist clients with filing EEOC complaints, draft complaints, attend administrative hearings, mediate employment disputes, draft and respond to discovery, and draft motions in federal and state court
Specific knowledge and experience with filing claims under the Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA") and general employment laws
Represent employees in grievances, arbitration, and discrimination complaints
Synthesize legal research and analysis into a coherent written memorandum or brief for submission to a client, court or arbitrator
Counsel employees in all aspect of the employment relationship
Negotiate with outside parties on contractual issues and legal disputes, including settlement conferences and mediations
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school
Admission to the bar in the state in which you intend to practice
1-year minimum experience with the Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA") and general employment law
