An 86-bed behavioral health facility located just south of Dallas, has been providing quality health care to the residents of DFW since 1988. Hickory Trail Hospital provides inpatient and day treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults. Our professional staff individualizes care to uniquely fit the intensity and severity of each client's case and their family's needs. Because crisis occurs at all times of the day and night, our services are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are also a proud supporter of the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention.
The Director of Risk Management (Facility Risk Manager / FRM) has broad responsibility to protect the hospital's assets from loss. The FRM is responsible for coordinating the loss control efforts and advising management and administration on all potential sources of loss and for making recommendations to minimize or eliminate exposure. The structure and functions of the Risk Management Program are designed so as to comply with guidelines and standards of TJC, other regulatory agencies, and the UHS T.E.R.M Program.

Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's degree specializing in social work or a related mental health area, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master degree preferred.
Experience : Four (4) years of experience in risk management / improving organizational performance within an acute medical or psychiatric treatment setting.
Licensure : LPC, LMSW, LMSW, LPC-A, RN preferred.
Additional Requirements : A strong knowledge of JOINT COMMISSION, TDSHS, CMS standards, and any other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.
