Overview

WWF seeks a Plastic Corporate Engagement Intern with demonstrated skills in project management, event planning and effective communication. The intern will work closely with members of WWF's Private Sector Engagement department on the Plastic & Material Science team. This internship provides an opportunity to improve research and project coordination skills in a professional setting, gain knowledge about corporate sustainability, material science, public policy, and environmental issues, and contribute to WWF's mission. The work will support event planning for the annual WWF Plastic Summit as well as other project management related to corporate engagement best practices and programs that address plastic pollution. Candidate must be based in the Washington D.C.-Metro area for the duration of the internship and adhere to WWF's hybrid in-office policy.

Responsibilities

Support event planning for the annual WWF Plastic Summit (April 26-29, 2026 in Washington, D.C.) and support for other events as needed.

Qualifications

Hourly Rate : $20.50 per hour, 35 hours per week.
