We’re looking for a Commercial Category Manager to oversee sourcing, promotions, and category strategy across multiple retail locations. This role is essential in building supplier partnerships, optimizing product assortments, and ensuring profitability across key categories, and particularly in watches and jewelry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement country-level sourcing strategies aligned with global category objectives.
- Manage negotiations and relationships with local suppliers to secure competitive terms and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
- Coordinate product promotions in collaboration with Marketing and Retail Operations to increase sales and visibility.
- Analyze the commercial performance of local suppliers, including sales, margins, inventory, and assortment efficiency.
- Review and optimize product mix and stock levels to meet financial and operational targets.
- Prepare reports and action plans to achieve budgeted margins and category growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support continuous improvement and consistency across regions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.5 – 7 years of retail experience, including at least 3 years in a management or category leadership role.Hands-on experience with watches and / or jewelry including buying, merchandising, or vendor management.Proven success in vendor negotiations and category or product sourcing.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.Proficient with business software tools and retail analytics.Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and verbal).Preferred
Experience in travel retail or multi-site retail operations.Strong leadership, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
