job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, applying conflict resolution techniques when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe and report any irregularities. Monitor access points and identify any unauthorized individuals and / or suspicious activities, taking appropriate actions within the guidelines provided. Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences identified during patrols. Collaborate with local law enforcement and other emergency personnel as required by site protocols. Operate and maintain assigned security equipment, including firearms, in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific regulations. Remain alert to potential security-related threats and communicate observations in a timely manner to the appropriate personnel. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles. Possess an armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol License Cardholder in Washington, DC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
