Territory Merchant Ops Manager
The Territory Merchant Ops Manager will be focused on the Midwest territory, doing fast-paced, agile work to help with our merchant operations and retention. In this role, you will develop resources that empower Sellers and Account Managers to drive maximum gross bookings and retention. These resources will include ideation, analysis, the creating dashboards to track progress, and presenting findings and insights to the leadership team. This is a high-profile role, requiring close collaboration with Territory Leads, Sales Managers, Sellers, and Account Managers to identify pain points and develop solutions to address those issues.
Focus on Merchant acquisition, gross bookings and retention for the Midwest
Identify, solve, or escalate customer or tech issues and opportunities
Track performance of resources through productivity metrics and outcomes (closed wons, first trips, gross bookings growth, offers adoption, online ordering adoption etc)
Create resources such as SQL queries, Dashboards and deep analysis to leave behind materials for sellers and account managers to utilize
Drive analysis on strategic decisions, including understanding key levers to improve results and clarifying tradeoffs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other territories, central ops, and product ops to achieve goals
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of professional work experience in a related field (consulting, operations, strategy, tech, investment banking)
Strong Excel / Google Sheets
Experienced with SQL
Bachelor degree required

Strong experience building and executing complex processes
Ability to identify opportunities / problems and proactively deliver proposed solutions
Unparalleled business judgement and critical thinking skills with the ability to use data to quickly develop strategies and make decisions
Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting data & insights to an audience
Strong collaboration and partner management skills - building deep, trust-based relationships with territory and cross functional teams
Experience working closely and communicating effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders in a constantly evolving, rapid growth environment with tight deadlines
Advanced analytical capabilities including familiarity with python or R
Project Management experience
High energy working style and optimistic attitude
For Chicago, IL-based roles : The base salary range for this role is USD$95,500 per year - USD$106,250 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other @types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
