  • Location : Spokane, WA (Zip : 99204) – Washington nursing jobs\n
  • Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 17 / 2025 – End : 2 / 14 / 2026)\n
  • Shift : 12-hour nights (every other weekend rotation; clustered shifts when possible)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed\n
  • Estimated Weekly Pay : $1880–$2020\n
  • Setting : Level 3 Trauma Center, 18-bed mixed ICU\n
  • Employment Type : Travel RN, On-Site\n

    • \n\nICU Registered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Washington State preferred\n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience\n
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required\n
  • Strong skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation, medication titration, proning, hypothermia protocol, chest tubes, drains, and invasive line monitoring (a-lines, CVP)\n
  • Experience with EPIC charting, BD Alaris IV Pumps, and Pyxis medication dispensing preferred\n
  • Previous travel nurse or travel healthcare experience strongly preferred\n
  • Professional appearance; any color scrubs permitted\n

    • \n\nICU RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Provide high-quality, compassionate care to ICU patients, focusing on medical cases (DKA, ARDS, sepsis, COVID, multisystem failure)\n
  • Care for surgical and neuro ICU patients as needed (open abdomen, thoracotomies, CVA, craniotomy, EVDs, ICP monitoring)\n
  • Manage patient ratios of 1 : 2-3 based on acuity\n
  • Float to respiratory, surgical, telemetry, PCU, or ED units as needed for clinical support\n
  • Utilize advanced monitoring and documentation systems (EPIC, Alaris, Pyxis)\n
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
