Financial Planning Strategy Leader
This role is responsible for defining the strategy for financial planning in alignment with Truist's goals. This includes identification of the financial planning needs for Wealth and Premier and aligning resources to effectively execute those objectives. Responsible for ensuring technology choices align with this strategy and will collaborate with digital teams to ensure that delivery of solutions that enable successful outcomes. Will also lead a team of Financial Planning Consultants in the coordination, development, delivery and implementation of financial planning training and support to advisors.

Qualifications :

1. Knowledgeable in financial planning, related planning platforms, and industry trends.
2. Adept at developing and leading conceptual strategies, delivering implementation solutions, while still providing "hands on" implementation support.
3. Ability to influence across constituents with differing priorities, adept at managing ambiguity and conflicting priorities
4. Able to lead and inspire a team to successful outcomes; may be called on to be a player / coach
5. College degree
6. Expert communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
7. 8-15 years of leadership experience in financial planning, practice management, coaching, product or similar wealth management experience
8. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, including excellent professional presence, effective at building relationships with colleagues across multiple business lines, coaching and development, and team members to ensure success of business initiatives.
9. Ability to function as member of a team and comfortably interact with Fortune 100 managers and executives
10. Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities, multi-tasking
Preferred Qualifications :
1. Specialist level knowledge of financial planning, practice management, consultative selling, and performance coaching techniques and their application in retirement, investment and personal financial planning.
2. Uses a consultative approach to customer's business needs, is able to develop and present appropriate recommendations and consistently provides solutions for performance issues and goals.
3. Strong applicable business knowledge and experience, both strategic and tactical
4. Assist management in the evaluation of program effectiveness.
5. Ability to work independently and proactively with quantitative and qualitative problem solving skills
6. Specialist level knowledge of change management, adult learning theories and facilitation techniques.
7. Client service techniques and sales concepts sufficient to inspire more sales of appropriate products.
8. Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
