The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform has thousands of students looking for online World Literature tutors nationally. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys — all from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities

  • Tutor 1-on-1 online World Literature sessions using the Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform.
  • Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
  • Match with students best-suited to your teaching style and expertise.
  • Deliver engaging, clear instruction; personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
  • Utilize the platform’s features to support instruction and engagement (e.g., Tutor Copilot for real-time guidance and lesson generation).
  • Invoice for tutoring sessions; the platform handles payments and logistics.
  • Maintain a professional and supportive learning environment that helps students achieve their goals.

What We Look For In a Tutor

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
  • Expertise in World Literature with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
  • Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
  • Priority given to those with tutoring experience, teaching experience, and graduate-level education.
