Position Summary : The HRIS Manager is responsible for leading the strategy, implementation, and optimization of the enterprise HCM and related HR systems to enhance efficiency, data integrity, and user experience across the organization. This role ensures system governance, standardization, leverages AI-driven HR technologies to enhance efficiency, while managing vendor relationships and ensuring smooth system integrations. Reporting to the Director of People Operations, the HRIS Manager partners closely with HR, IT, and business leaders across the organization to drive continuous system improvements, automation, and the seamless adoption of HR technologies.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Lead the implementation and ongoing management of core HCM and other HR technologies, ensuring systems align with organizational needs and best practices
- Develop and execute the HR technology roadmap, integrating AI-driven solutions as appropriate, to enhance HR service delivery and workforce planning
- Establish and enforce HRIS governance standards, including system usage policies, access controls, and compliance requirements
- Support and facilitate HR technology implementations, overseeing data migration, system configuration, and testing
- Standardize HR technology processes by developing and maintaining SOPs, training documentation, and system workflows
- Continuously assess system performance, identifying opportunities for automation and process efficiency
- Drive system enhancements and module expansions, ensuring continued innovation, alignment with HR priorities, and improved system functionality
- Utilize HR reporting tools and analytics to generate actionable insights for decision-making
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards that monitor HR KPIs, workforce trends, and operational performance
- Maintain HR data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards
- Integrate AI-driven analytics and automation to improve HR service delivery and predict workforce trends
- Oversee vendor relationships with HR technology third-party providers, ensuring contract compliance and SLA adherence
- Assess and recommend HR technology solutions to enhance efficiency, scalability, and user experience
- Assist in overseeing budgeting, licensing, and cost-effectiveness of HR technology investments
- Lead the development and execution of change management strategies to drive adoption of new HR technologies and system enhancements
- Deliver training and support programs for HR teams and end-users to maximize system adoption and efficiency
- Track user adoption metrics and refine training and communication strategies to enhance engagement and effectiveness
- Work closely with the Manager, Operational Excellence to ensure system changes align with broader HR process improvements and operational goals
- Lead, mentor, and develop HRIS team members, providing coaching, guidance, and performance management to drive team effectiveness. Supervise HRIS Business Analyst
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging skill development, knowledge sharing, and innovation within the HRIS team
- Align team objectives with HR and organizational priorities, ensuring HRIS initiatives support business goals and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with People Team managers to ensure HRIS alignment with department initiatives, drive knowledge sharing, and enhance cross-functional teamwork.
Qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities) :
7 years related HRIS experience with expertise in HCM implementations and management1-2 years recent team or staff supervision experienceBachelors degree in Business, HR, information systems, or equivalent work experienceExperience driving large-scale HRIS transformations in complex or multi-site organizationsAbility to lead large-scale system implementations while ensuring stakeholder alignment and minimal disruptionsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience managing HR data integrity, reporting, and process automation, and system integrationsStrong leadership presence and influencing skills, with the ability to gain buy-in from senior leaders and stakeholdersExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across HR, IT, and leadership teamsCertificates in HR Technology or project management such as HRIP, PMP, or Oracle HCM Cloud certifications, are a plus.On Lok's Employee Benefits include (eligible for any position for 20 hr / wk or more) :
