Assist with scheduling refresher training sessions and following up on required certifications. Support safety awareness initiatives in partnership with supervisors and managers. Prepare reports, presentations, and other HR and H&S communications. Support audits and inspections by providing accurate training documentation. Collaborate with supervisors and managers to address staffing and training needs. Minimum 3 years of experience in an HR generalist or HR / Health & Safety combined role. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred. Strong knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, and training processes. Experience delivering safety-related training and maintaining training records. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. 30 hours per week, schedule to be determined. On-site role within a manufacturing facility environment. May require occasional flexibility for training or special projects. $23 hourly

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Part-Time HR Generalist / Health & Safety Coordinator to support our Human Resources and Health & Safety functions. This role will focus on end-to-end recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and training of new hires, while also assisting with Health & Safety training and training record management. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and a strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and candidate selection.
- Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
- Coordinate and deliver employee training sessions as required.
- Maintain HR records, employee files, and HRIS data with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with employee relations, policy interpretation, and day-to-day HR inquiries.
