Job Summary The Production Designer reviews and creates flat layouts, enters Bill of Materials, routings, and hours for shop personnel for the fabrication of GEA equipment.

Responsibilities / Tasks Participate in design reviews prior to production control transmittal of Rev 0 prints.

Verify dimensions prior to layouts.

Possess strong print reading and math skills to create 2-D layouts involving plasma cutter and shear.

Enter full Bill of Materials in ERP.

Create work center operational routings and enter into ERP.

Support shop floor in obtaining dimensions and mitigating fabrication challenges.

Process stock jobs and fast track jobs.

Reproduce and release full fabrication packages.

Create new part numbers for materials and outsourced services.

Communicate with Engineering regarding print discrepancies.

Create Weld Mapping prints upon request.

Maintain SharePoint data entry of processed prints.

Foster collaborative relationships with colleagues and project team members.

Qualifications High School Diploma required; Manufacturing Engineering Technology preferred.

Experience in large-scale manufacturing preferred.

Experience with modeling software like AutoCAD, Inventor, or equivalent preferred.

Excellent communication, strong mechanical aptitude, and math skills.

Ability to use personal computers, navigate the internet, and use MS Office.

Onsite 5 days per week in Hudson, WI.
