Our state-of-the-art facility supports nine networks, two independent production control rooms, IP-based audio infrastructure, and live event coverage, including the Olympic Ozone show from Universal Studios and annual community events like the OUC Marathon and Share Your Christmas.

We are seeking a dedicated Broadcast Systems Technician to join our Technology Team. Reporting to the IT Manager, you will manage, maintain, and repair cutting-edge broadcast and IT systems in a dynamic, high-paced environment. This role also includes supporting live event setups and coordinating diverse production workflows.

Responsibilities

• Execute and improve preventative maintenance programs to maximize reliability.
• Provide technical support across all departments, including News, Creative Services, Sales, and Administration.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues via in-house repair, vendor repair, or replacements.
• Maintain and enhance LAN / IT infrastructure, including hardware / software installations.
• Travel as needed to remote locations such as news bureaus, transmitter sites, and skycam locations.
• Collaborate with IT and Engineering teams on operations like news, production, and broadcast workflows.
• Perform troubleshooting, installations, cabling, and comprehensive documentation.
