for a motivated and experienced Advanced Test Engineer to join our
dynamic team. By joining Honeywell, you will take part in a

As an Advanced Test
Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal
role in ensuring the proper functioning of both legacy and new test
systems to support our fast-paced, high-volume commercial line of
aerospace products. You will collaborate with both onsite and
off-site cross-functional teams, presenting findings about the test
equipment's health status, and aiding in production continuity by
supporting internal customers. Additionally, you will contribute to
proposals for acquiring new capital
equipment.
In this role, you will impact the
efficiency and effectiveness of our aerospace testing processes and
systems, contributing to the advancement of cutting-edge technology
that enhances safety and performance in
aviation.
You will report directly to our
Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Clearwater, FL
location on a Hybrid (3 / 2) work
schedule.
KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES
Test
Systems Management : Ensure the functionality and proper operation
of advanced test systems, including both hardware and network
components, to meet high volume production demands.
Troubleshoot complex test systems and document findings
clearly to facilitate future reference and enhancement.
Analysis & Reporting : Present findings on the current
health status of the test equipment, providing comprehensive
reports to stakeholders.
Continuous Production
Support : Keep production moving smoothly by supporting internal
customers and addressing any interruptions or requirements they may
have.
Work on proposals to obtain new capital
equipment by evaluating needs, creating compelling business cases,
and justifying investments.
Qualifications
YOU
MUST HAVE
Bachelor's
degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline
such as science, technology, engineering,
mathematics.
3+ years of experience in systems
engineering (or related field)
2+ years of
experience specifically in Test Systems engineering methodologies
and tools, including requirements
management.
2+ years of experience with
hardware repair and
troubleshooting
WE
VALUE
Advanced
Engineering degrees like MS in Electrical Engineering or related,
is of value.
Comprehensive knowledge in test
systems integration, implementation, and
troubleshooting
Experience in leading complex
system integration projects.
Passion for
innovation and continuous learning.
Attention
to detail and excellent problem-solving
capability.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and
dynamic
environment.
